Reactive Persistence Architecture
To ensure the command center operates with zero perceptual latency, the viewport client does not rely on HTTP polling. Instead, it subscribes to database state changes via Supabase Realtime websockets. Autonomous fleet signals and operator cognitive sentry logs populate the HUD instantly.
Database Schema and Domain Indices
The PostgreSQL schema segregates raw updates into a metrics table constrained by domain enums, utilizing indexes optimized for high-frequency time-series updates:
CREATE TYPE metric_domain AS ENUM ('nervous_system', 'quant_fleets', 'prediction_clob', 'sovereign_truth');
CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS metrics (
id UUID PRIMARY KEY DEFAULT gen_random_uuid(),
created_at TIMESTAMPTZ DEFAULT now(),
domain metric_domain NOT NULL,
name TEXT NOT NULL,
value FLOAT8 NOT NULL,
metadata JSONB DEFAULT '{}'::jsonb
);
CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS idx_metrics_created_at ON metrics (created_at DESC);
CREATE INDEX IF NOT EXISTS idx_metrics_domain_name ON metrics (domain, name);Client-Side Pub/Sub Subscription
The web application registers websocket channels within React lifecycle hooks:
useEffect(() => {
if (!HAS_SUPABASE) return;
const metricsSub = supabase
.channel('metrics_updates')
.on('postgres_changes', { event: 'INSERT', schema: 'public', table: 'metrics' }, (payload) => {
const m = payload.new;
if (m.domain === 'nervous_system') setNervousMetrics(prev => ({ ...prev, [m.name]: m.value }));
if (m.domain === 'quant_fleets') setQuantMetrics(prev => ({ ...prev, [m.name]: m.value }));
if (m.domain === 'prediction_clob') setClobMetrics(prev => ({ ...prev, [m.name]: m.value }));
if (m.domain === 'sovereign_truth') setTruthMetrics(prev => ({ ...prev, [m.name]: m.value }));
})
.subscribe();
return () => {
supabase.removeChannel(metricsSub);
};
}, []);
